Eastern Shore Millponds

I fished on the Eastern Shore on January 22. Starting at Smithville Community Lake, fishing there for three hours or so. I then moved over to Tuckahoe State Park to see if the bite was better over there. At Smithville I caught two pickerel, the biggest 22� and one slightly smaller. There were two other anglers. But they weren�t catching while I was there. One angler was throwing jigs and the other using minnows. At Tuckahoe I had no luck, I spoke to a angler in a bass boat. He had been bass fishing for three hours before he called it quits, no fish.
