Potomac River Walleye

Type: Nontidal
Region: Western
Location: Upper Potomac River

I drove up to the upper Potomac River for some drift fishing for musky and walleye on Sunday (3/21/21) with friend Julian Tsai. We spent the day on the river casting large musky baits without success but, we did catch a few walleye, a fallfish and I accidentally snagged a sucker (I believe it was a golden red horse). A day of drift fishing is a fun experience when you have a guide who knows the river! Its always a fun drift on the Potomac with Potomac River Trophies Capt. Jon Griffiths.
