A Variety Of Fish

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Potomac River

Went out to the "Spoils" on the Potomac River on Saturday June 11. Despite a 20 min heavy downpour, it was a very successful day. I was primarily fishing for Crappie, however I was able to catch Yellow Perch, White Perch, Bluegills, Largemouth Bass (including a 3.5 pounder) and of course Crappie. Bass of course was released. The lure of choice was small tubes on 1/8 ounce jig heads.
