Some Blackwater Fishing

I met up with Zach Ditmers and his friend Brad on the blackwater today. We made our way back to a familiar feeder creek then started casting baits. Zach and Brad pulled a minnow behind their kayaks too. The bite was slow, we fished for 5 or 5.5 hrs. Zach caught a snakehead on a minnow. Brad caught a big white perch on minnow too.

We caught some nice largemouth bass, up to 19�, and four snakehead. Zach caught a nice 28� fish on a five inch white paddle tail.

My fish were caught on a white whopper plopper and 1/8oz jig with a 4� blue gray paddle.
