Eastern Shore Fishing

I fished and camped this weekend on the Eastern Shore with friend Darren Rienhart. Camping and using Tuckahoe state park as base camp, we fished Smithville, Blackwater and Tuckahoe.

Friday we fished Smithville but in the end we only fish a few hours because of the wind. We caught four pickerel and four bass between us.

Saturday we spent a brutal nine hours pounding Little Blackwater with only one snakehead and catfish caught by Darren. We spoke to other anglers and it was the same for most, zero fish.

Sunday we fished Tuckahoe for a few hours in the morning. Catching four pickerel and six bass between the two of us.

I�m going to say that the cold front slowed the fishing a bit this past weekend.
