Miles River

I fished the Miles River (launched at Miles River Bridge Landing) from my kayak on Wednesday, May 5th.

I started out by catching a few small white perch (4 total on a rooster tail spinner), in shallow water near the banks. Then I switched to a perch pounder rig, and caught my first 2 rockfish of the season, casting in shallow water on the upstream side of the bridge. All fish were released to be caught another day. Great afternoon of fishing!!
