After mountain biking 2 hours with my outdoor buddy Ron at Liberty Reservoir on Saturday morning, May 15, 2021. We spotted a good sized largemouth bass in front of the canoes at the second Oakland Mills boat ramp. When I got home I couldnt get the fish off of my mind, so after a quick lunch I grabbed my two rods and went back to the canoe area. To my delight I saw the bass still cruising the area. I set the rod in with a plastic worm lure and cast past the bass and began slowly reeling it in. The fish started to show interest with some nibbles. After about 15 minutes of this, I reset the lure and changed it to a bright pink plastic worm, the fish finally hit the hook. Once caught, it was soon released back.
