A Saturday in Southern Maryland

I fished the morning of 6/5 and part of the afternoon on Mill Creek and the Patuxent River. I found white perch under boat docks on the creek. I caught 10 perch and two under-sized striped bass before I hooked into a cownose ray. The ray had a lamprey hitchhiker!

I then fished the Patuxent River, catching two additional striped bass. Losing a nice one too. The biggest fish was 23.5�. Catching the stripers on 1/2oz jigs with 4� paddle tail. The perch were caught on beetle spin.
