Name: Dutch Baldwin Home town: Indian head Location of catch: Mallows bay Hello I shot a snakehead bow fishing in Mallows bay June 15th 2011. The fish 31 inches long, it was dark black in color. I have other snake head kills and this fish was solid in color not patterned like the other snakeheads. The fish was dispatched and became dinner. I shot antoher snakehead in Chicamuxen creek while bow fishing for carp around the first of June. It was dispatched and became dinner for the evening. I have seen numerous snake heads in the Chicamuxen. This one was a 26 inch female full of roe. I shot and missed a snakehead in Nanjomey creek Tuesday June 14th that was gaurding and ball of her fry. The ball appeared to look like a partially submerged orange basket ball. The mother/father was circling it very slowly and i shot and missed it. The baby fish were a bright orange in color. I go bowfishing in Nanjomey Creek for Gar. We shoot plenty of fish.
