I had an interesting couple of mornings at Liberty Reservoir. Fish were very active and eating cicadas. The carp hit a popper which must have looked like a cicada. A carp on a top water bait is a first for me. The crappie was 15.25 inches and was caught using a small spinner with a twister tail. 22 fish in two mornings, and all came from 4 feet of water over submergent vegetation.
Barry received a FishMaryland certificate for this catch. Congratulations!
