A Couple of Days of Fishing

I fished with my grandson, Isaac on the 22nd for about an hour before the rain pushed us off the community fishing pier in our neighborhood on Mill Creek. We caught a few rockfish (biggest was 19.5�) small perch and Isaac landed a big spot! The fish were caught on paddle jig and fishbites.

On Wednesday the 23rd I fished the Little Blackwater off Egypt Rd. catching a few snakehead in the 24/26� range. I caught them on a whopper plopper and plastic frog. Both baits were white. I lost a fish I pulled off a fry ball, �catching� it on a chatter bait.

I checked the fry balls to verify that they were snakehead. Three dips of the net into three fry ball produced fry! Then I saw a catfish fry ball near the pier too.
