On Saturday I got up at 3 a.m. to head over to Little Blackwater for some snakehead fishing with my friend Chris Whiteman.
Getting on the water a little after 6:30, we started catching around 8:40. The early start was just so we could get a parking space.
We harvested 6 snakehead and loosing an equal number. We couldnt get a topwater bite to save our lives. So I gave up on the fly rod. All the fish were caught on a white 4 paddle tail rigged weedless on a weighted hook.
We pulled off at noon as the day started to heat up.
