Catching Up

I was camping for four days on Deep Creek lake this past weekend. I only got a few hours of fishing in. We tried to fish the lake out of the state park but there is limited shoreline to cast from. I didn�t take my kayak and with boat traffic the lake was like a washtub.

We then made it over to the Youghioheny River near Swallow Falls. I fished two mornings there and only caught a small rock bass and smallmouth bass. Both on a very small crankbait.

Today, 8/18, I fished (in the heat of the day) for four hours on Mill Creek and caught 8 cutlass fish (making it 47 cutlass fish this summer) on a 1/2 jig with a white or electric chicken plastic.
