Bottom Fishing

I finally got a chance to go bottom fishing today, 08/22. I launched my boat near Cobbs Island on the Potomac just south of the 301 bridge. For bait I used bloodworms, squid, nightcrawlers, peeler crabs and cutbait. I fished Morgantown, SwanPoint and the mouth of Cuckolds Creek. I was testing a few of my mono adjustable 1-2-3 Fishing Rigs and caught plenty of Perch with a few keeper spot and croaker mixed in. Going back tomorrow to target rockfish and catfish if possible.
