At one of my favorite Liberty Reservoir spots on Sunday morning September 5, 2021, I caught about six decent size [6-7 inches] bluegill. As I was catching the bluegill I noticed a largemouth bas swimming around my night crawler bait each time I caught them.
My attention/focus moved to the bass. I switched to a pink plastic worm and noticed it showing interest. It was hovering under the lure with the bobber about one and half feet above but would not strike. I reeled in and took the bobber off and let the hook sink about 6 to 8 feet and BAM! it striked. Once caught, I took a few pictures and released it back home.
