32 " Spanish Mackerel

I treated my son, Steve, to a charter on 9/18/2021 for his birthday. We left Chesapeake Beach aboard "Teacher's Pet."
Captain Travis did a great job of keeping us on fish. The highlight of the trip was when Steve hooked a huge Spanish Mackerel. The drag was screaming as everyone moved out of the way so Steve could work the fish to Captain Travis' net. It was quite an exciting battle.

Landing a citation 32" Spanish mackerel made for a memorable birthday.
