Some fishing

Type: Nontidal
Region: Southern
Location: Calvert Cliffs State Park

I fished Mill Creek in the morning of 10/28. I was looking for a striped bass topwater bite but could only find fish on jigs with with white paddle tails. I ended up catching 8, only one keeper.

My plan was to then fish St Marys Lake, I stopped at the house for a sandwich then headed out. But, the bridge was closed for a few hours due to an accident on the bridge. So, no freshwater bite.

But, I then received a DNR notification about trout stocking in Calvert County. I headed over to Calvert Cliffs State Park. I ended up catching 8 fish and releasing them all. I caught them on a woolly bugger, dry fly and beaded nymph. Throwing a 3wt.
