Some Pickerel Fishing

I hadn�t planned on fishing 11/10, staying home to do an oil change in the Jeep and to do some writing. But seeing Friday will be rainy I headed out, but a little later in the day. Getting to Smithville Lake at 10:30 after picking up minnows at Anglers. I fished til 3:00. Catching six pickerel and four largemouth bass. Pickerel ranged from 18� up to 25�. The bass were 14� up to 19�. All fish but one, the 24� pickerel, were caught on minnows. The big pickerel was caught on a 1/4 oz jig with a 4� keitech paddle tail. What a beautiful weather day too!!!
