Back on Track

My last game fish of any size was a trout at Morgan Run in late May. Managing only a few fruitless fishing outings all summer, I was determined to catch dinner when DNR started up the fall trout stocking program. I followed DNR's postings religiously for over two weeks and hit all the stocking locations, mostly "a day late and a dollar short." By the arrival of the Holiday Season I was ready to pack it in for the year. But I had a chance to get out this past Friday, Nov. 26th. I caught this feisty pickerel from the shore at Loch Raven using a white Joe's Fly in-line spinner. Nice to be back on track!
