Striped Bass Season Closing

This is a reminder to all anglers that the last day of the striped bass catch and keep season in the Maryland section of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries is December 10. After December 10 you may catch and release striped bass. For more details, please see https://www.eregulations.com/maryland/fishing/striped-bass

The tidal Potomac River tributaries (on the Maryland side of the river) also close to catch and keep fishing after December 10. The mainstem of the tidal Potomac River is managed by the Potomac River Fisheries Commission, its striped bass season will remain open to catch and keep through December 31, with a minimum size limit of 20 inches and a possession limit of 2 fish per person/day.
