Lure: Heddon Tiny Torpedo while bass fishing using 8 lb. mono.

I was fortunate to get this fish in on Saturday considering I had 8 lb. mono and no steel leader. I was fishing the early evening topwater bite with a tiny torpedo when this fish blew up on it. With my friend�s help we got a picture and released the fish. 36� and estimated in the 13-14 lb. range based on length/weigh tables I found on the web. This is the biggest freshwater fish I�ve ever caught and not anything I�ll soon forget!
