I monitored the weather this morning, 2/18, and seeing that the wind was at gale force I opted not to kayak fish today. My plan was to fish several ponds. Well I dilly dally around, and time got away so I just fished Calvert Cliffs. I, of course, didn�t take my fly gear, I took light spinning gear. I caught two trout on a small in-line spinner and another trout on a micro jig under a bobber. I used the waves caused by the wind on the pond to give the jig its action, which worked well.

I wrapped it up after two hours of wind� ugh.
