Happy Twosday 2/22/22

I fished Galestown and Johnson�s millponds yesterday 2/21. I had never fished the pond in Galestown, catching two pickerel while there. I�ll need to spend some time fishing there and learning more about the lake. I was told that the dam at the pond blew out five or six years ago. The dam was repaired and the lake restocked, I�m unclear on the maturity of the fish there though. Catching a 23� and 15� pickerel. Fishing there for two hours.

I then moved over to Johnson�s pond. Catching six additional pickerel and a nice 12.5� crappie. All fish were caught on minnows on a lead jig under a bobber. While at Johnson�s I spoke to four other anglers. None had any luck catching. They were throwing artificial baits.

The weather was nice, but I believe the bite would have been better if there was some cloud cover.
