Calvert County Lake Fishing

I had three hours to fish today, 3/2 and I took advantage of the time. I went to a local lake here in Calvert County.

Launching my kayak at 9:30 and fishing until 12:30, I caught 7 crappie and 4 largemouth bass. The largest bass was a very heavy 20� fish while the biggest crappie was 15.25�. Several of the other crappie were over the 14� mark.

I started out trying to use up minnows that I had left over from earlier in the week. I only caught three fish off minnows. All the other fish came on a wacky rig.

It was a beautiful day to be out on the water!
