Week in review

This past week, 3/6 to 3/12, I fished Allen�s Fresh a few days looking for yellow perch. But they were elusive, either they had made their run and I missed it or they pulled back due to the erratic weather. I'm thinking it was the latter.

I fished St Mary�s lake and another lake in southern Maryland as well.

I was catching largemouth bass, crappie, yellow perch, golden shiner, white perch, bullhead catfish and bluegill. Minnows on jigs under a bobber were used for the yellow perch and a small spinner bait for the bass, crappie and catfish. I also used a small Shad dart for crappie and other fish on St Mary�s Lake.

There was some wacky weather this week but fun nonetheless.
