I had been following DNR's trout stocking reports diligently since last fall. After almost 20 sessions in pursuit of a keepable rainbow trout at those locations, including a recent visit to Gwynn's Falls this week, I have been totally skunked. But on Friday, March 18th, only hours after DNR had stocked the Little Patuxent, I was finally able to catch my limit of two rainbows in rapid succession as night was falling. A white in-line spinner seemed to be the answer. A fallen tree across the trail near the river's edge provided a handy camera stand for a selfie moments after my catch.
