MASTER ANGLER AWARD PRESENTATION AT BASS PRO SHOPS SPRING CLASSIC

On Sunday, March 20th, Maryland Department of Natural Resources Acting Fisheries Director Mike Luisi, Recreational Fisheries Outreach Coordinator Erik Zlokovitz, and Bass Pro Shops Assistant General Manager Sabin J. Rausch presented Master Angler Gary Simpson of Nottingham, MD with a $250 Gift Card at Bass Pro Shops-Outdoor World, Arundel Mills. Gary Simpson is the first and only current angler to reach the Master Angler Milestone Award in the FishMaryland Program. He caught ten different species, meeting the minimum length. Gary received a certificate, a limited edition FishMaryland Milestone black sticker, and is now winning a $250 Bass Pro Shops Gift Card. He also had a chance to get a behind the scenes tour at the Bass Pro Shops Aquarium, feeding multiple fishing species including a huge blue catfish, striped bass, and red drum, along with largemouth bass and walleye.
