Opening Day of Trout Season

I had a partially successful opening day trout season at the Northwest Branch in Montgomery County. Fishing was slow at times but by end of day I had three Rainbow Trout. A lot of the trout got away just as I was about the land the fish. I might have to get a new net since my old one is broken. I also caught and released a Smallmouth Bass which put up a good fight. All in all a good start to the fishing season even thought I did not expect to start snowing. Tight lines!
