Julian Tsai and I headed out early this morning (4/25) to meet my friend Lou Malone for some Shad fishing. This was Lou�s first chance to catch a shad.

We arrived after five, fishing until 10:45. We were casting tandems (Shad darts and spoons) pink was the hot color. Lou was very happy to be catching fish. I�d estimate he caught slightly over twenty shad. A male American Shad in the mix. Julian said he caught 50. Three doubles in the mix. I caught 80 with three American Shad in the mix w/7 doubles.
