Friday on Mallows Bay

I fished Mallows Bay on Friday, 6/24. I got on the water at 7:30 and fished until 1:30.

I targeted largemouth bass and snakehead. I caught two bass on a watermelon color wacky rig. I was unsuccessful in hooking a snakehead, although they made for my bait a couple of times while casting into a fry ball. But I did net some 40+ snakehead fry!

I then headed out to fish the Potomac River where it meets the ship wrecks. I was trolling and casting Chatter Baits, with no skirts. I replaced the skirts with a white paddle tail, and I fished a swim bait also and caught seven blue catfish between 18� & 28�. I lost several fish at the boat and a few fish broke chatter baits.
