Mid day Wednesday April 14th, my friend Willy and I headed out to the Patuxent River in nearby Davidsonville, Md, off of Governor Bridge's Road. Mainly to dust off our fishing gear from last year and try for a few fish. We were casting 3" white grubs on 1/4 ounce jig heads in the current and retrieving on light spinning tackle. This was the only fish of the day for both of us, but walking through thick brush, loosing lures with a long time friend was a fine way to waste a day off.
