Mackerel Fishing

My grandson, Isaac and I jumped on my friend Andy�s boat on 8/12 to target mackerel.

We found them on the western shore just north of the navy target. We were pulling 0 and 00 chrome and gold Clark Spoons on #1 and #2 planers. The fish were eating 00 spoons of both chrome and gold on #1 planers.

We then saw birds breaking so we pulled up the trolling gear and headed out for light tackle casting, but we were started to fight the wind and caught only one fish and missing a bunch. We headed back up towards Solomon�s and trolled a bit more and Isaac caught a bluefish. We called it shortly after.
