Targeting Blue Catfish on the Patuxent

We appreciate anglers targeting large invasive blue catfish in all waters of Maryland. The Patuxent River is one of the hotspots for this species. Kayak angler Dylan Henry recently caught these blue catfish weighing 30 and 33 pounds in the middle Patuxent and Jug Bay area on cut menhaden (also known as "bunker" or "alewives").
