A Dismal Day

I got a late start today (10/3), but I did get out for a few cast. What a dismal day, cold, windy, and rain.

I fished off the community pier on Mill Creek. Catching a schoolie on my third cast. But then it dropped off. Catching a small spec a little bit later. I only fished Mill Creek for an hour or so, grabbing lunch at the house then headed up to the pond at Indian Creek NRMA. There I caught a small bass, with a few short strikes.

Just a precaution to everyone, hunting season has started. Archery season is currently open. There were hunters on the property at Indian Creek today, The soft launch off Egypt Rd on Little Blackwater is closed now from 10/1 until March 1. Other properties will be affected also because of the opening of hunting season, some closed and some shared with hunters. Be safe.
