A Few Days Out on the Bay

I had a few moments the past two mornings (10/11 & 10/12) to fish the bay south of Cove Point, at Calvert Cliffs off Driftwood Beach. Casting 1/2oz jigs with a 4� white paddle tail and 1/4oz jig with a 3� white twister tail Gulp.

I caught 11 striped bass, a few keepers in the mix (largest 21.5�), 4 red drum (biggest 18�) 2 under sized flounder. Ialso stopped at a pond and took a few casts on the way home on the second day, catching a small bass on a spinner bait.

The past two mornings were just beautiful on the bay.
