Madness on the Marshyhope-Tournament & Community Event

The Department continues to support anglers and tournaments that target invasive fish species in Maryland. We are most concerned about blue catfish, but snakehead and flathead catfish can also have a big negative impact on the ecosystem. Several partner groups have teamed up for the Madness on the Marshyhope Blue Catfish tournament and food festival on November 5th. This is an educational experience for the community and the recreational fisherman.
