Second Heaviest Snakehead in MD History

Rob Trenary caught this 19.4 lb, 35 inch Northern snakehead while bow fishing on Elk River 11-2-2022. This fish was just under the Maryland state record of 19.9 lbs and is the second heaviest snakehead in the history of the MDDNR state record program. The fish has been submitted for a FishMaryland award certificate in the Invasive Species division.
