Launched the kayak around 2:00 P.M and fished until sunset. The water temperature today was 59-61 degrees. Spent the first couple of hours battling the windy conditions trying to find an effective way to present a lure. Tried other presentations such as diving crankbaits and plastic worms but with the way the wind was blowing I finally settled on a 1/2 ounce Rat-L-Trap. Caught 6 largemouth bass from 11 to 14 inches.
Most of them were caught along the edges of a creek channel in the back of one cove in 3 to 5 feet of water.
