Small Stream Bass

Well as the lakes boil in the heat we�ve changed over to the Potomac and some small streams in Central MD. You can see by the stream in the background we�re talking SMALL streams! The smallies are super active. 2 trips in the last week have both produced tons of smallmouths � most in the 6 to 12 inch range. However 2 have topped the 17� mark � all on 2-3� tubes � all on 6 lb line and what a great fight! A little current mixed in with their sheer strength makes them a great fight! Hit the pools hard and eddies around boulders. Great way to cool off in the heat and keep that rod bending.
