I took a few casts over at St Marys Lake on Monday 3/3. I was on the water at a quarter after nine and pulled off at two.
I ended up catching 18 largemouth bass, four pickerel, a yellow perch and accidentally snagging a giant golden shiner.
One bass and the yellow perch were caught on a small spinner bait with a white twister tail. All other fish were caught on a 1 or 1.5 crawfish colored (red) square billed crankbait. Catching in 4 to 8 of water, either over grass or over a laydown.
Water was 53.5deg when I got there, it rose to 57/58 in shallow coves and sun exposed northern shorelines.
