Fishing is Better at Fletchers Boat House

Fishing has picked up at Fletchers Boat House with hickory shad hitting shad darts on a fast retrieve.

I fished the Potomac River starting at 3:30 PM trying several spots, first where the river narrows and later on the bank section near the boat house. Both places were good with some of the shad caught being nice sized. The Potomac does need some rain as evidenced by a lot of rocks showing at low tide. Fishing picked up as soon as the tide started to come in.
