Fishing at Triadelphia Lake

Type: Nontidal
Region: Central
Location: Triadelphia Lake

I fished Triadelphia on 4/23. I really wanted to catch a pike, I got two. And a nice walleye too!!!

I fished with friend Cliff Hutt. I believe he caught seven largemouth bass and two crappie. He was throwing a wacky rig, spinner baits and a Rapala Shad Rap.

I caught 10 largemouth bass, big 19.25", 2 pike, big 22.25", a 20 walleye and a 13" crappie. Catching them on a red square billed crankbait, white spinner bait, a 4 light blue paddle tail on a 1/4oz jig, and a shallow runner Rapala Shad Rap.

I was catching most fish along the shoreline in 3-10 of water, near laydowns and the submerged tree tops and off points. A few fish were caught off old submerged trees in the center of coves.

Nice day of fishing.
