Still Good Fishing for Shad at Fletchers

The shad fishing at Fletchers Boat House is still good but may be winding down for Hickory Shad.

Starting at around 1:00 PM I caught 20 on large shad darts. I decided to stay into the evening and I am glad I did as I caught a nice American Shad. It put up a stubborn battle jumping once and then making 3 runs that tested my drag.

Photos are of the American Shad which was one of my better catches.
