A heads up to all Maryland striped bass (rockfish) anglers - in the May 10 DNR fishing report, we mentioned the new 31 inch maximum size limit that will start on May 16. The Chesapeake Bay will have a slot limit of 19-31 inches, and the coastal ocean waters around Ocean City, Ocean City Inlet, and the Oceanside coastal bays (including Isle of Wight Bay and Assawoman Bay) will have a 28-31 inch size limit.
