The summer/fall season for striped bass ("rockfish") starts on May 16, and the Maryland Department of Natural Resources is looking for help from volunteer anglers. Data submitted to helps the Maryland Department of Natural Resources characterize recreational striped bass catch and harvest. The department relies on data from your catch to manage striped bass to keep this species thriving. A prize will be given to the angler that submits the most entries by the end of the season in December.
The survey is gathering data on lengths of striped bass kept and released and we are particularly interested in lengths of fish released.
