I fished with two friends (Cliff & Billy) on the Potomac River 6/14, out of Violettes Lock Rd. We were wet wading the river.
The majority of the fish were caught in deeper pools out near the main steam of the river, being able to reach there because the river is so very low.
We caught an estimated 40+ fish. Most in the 8-12 range. One 16 fish was caught by Billy.
And of course, I had to catch a channel catfish. Gees. I also only caught 8 of the smallmouth bass. I caught on a Ned rig, Billy similar and Cliff on a small paddle tail.
Great day nonetheless, even in the rain.
