I'm sharing a few pictures of a memorable day out with family. I had the opportunity to drag out the old Jon boats, and do a much needed, back to the basics, kind of trip. So I invited my baby brother and his sons Eli and Dakota on a summer river float . The boys were immediately rewarded with a few nice morning top water smallies , and it was all smiles the rest of the day.
You gotta introduce kids and others to this amazing sport. I still remember doing floats as a kid. Paddling that old aluminum boat down the river throwing nothing but our trusty torpedoes on the surface.
The boys are determined to catch there first Muskie , so here are some of this years pics of their success as they develop their skills for the fall Muskie season.
