Western Shore Speckled trout

I fished the bay out of St Jerome�s Creek 8/13. Fishing along the shoreline and out near the crab pots. Catching in 8.5� +\- water. I was on the water at 6:30 and caught a cownose ray right off the bat, then a bluefish, they harassed my baits too. Then I had to wait until the tide turned. The bite shut off. No matter, I started to catch again. Three under striped bass, three speckled trout, all keepers. My biggest was 20.5�, but I did see a 28� fish caught. I caught two cownose rays which ate the baits, ugh.

There were three other kayak anglers on the bay in the same general area. They were catching same as me, I did hear and see that they caught a few keeper rockfish too.
