I bailed out on Point Lookout on 8/16. My Grandson Aidan wanted to go fishing. So I picked him up and we headed to Patuxent Research Refuge. He's a birder too. We took a few casts into Lake Cash also. I may someday drag a kayak up there.

After visiting the visitors center we had lunch, then fished near my place on Mill Creek. We caught over 30 cutlassfish on Rapala Shad Rap, but most were caught on jigs with chartreuse 4� Bass Assassin paddle tails (a few on white too).
