Type: Tidal
Region: Central
Location: tidal creek off the Patapsco River
On 11/18 I fished a tidal creek off the Patapsco River, getting on the water at 7:00a.m.
The weather was calm and in the 50s at the start, but turned very windy, cooler and the bite turned off around 10a.m. or so, well, in the end I got blown off the water.
I ended up catching nine pickerel on white paddle tails on a 3/8oz jig. Casting, letting the bait settle then a slow retrieve with occasional twitch did the trick. And I was harassed by a couple of ducks, I had to leave in fear of snagging one of them.
